Deanna A. Pepe, CCLS, PLS, has been a legal secretary, legal secretarial trainer and law office manager for more than 35 years. She received her California Certified Legal Secretary designation from Legal Secretaries Incorporated (California) in 1989 and her Certified Professional Legal Secretary designation from the National Association of Legal Secretaries in 1992.

Ms. Pepe has been a member of Legal Secretaries, Incorporated (California) since 1981 and served on its Executive Committee from 1988 through 2000.  She is a Past President of Legal Secretaries, Incorporated (California), having served from 1996 to 1998.  She served as LSI’s Special Advisor to the Law Practice Management & Technology Section of the State Bar of California.

Ms. Pepe is a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants, the Association of Legal Administrators and served as the San Fernando Valley section leader for the Greater Los Angeles Association of Legal Administrators.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Management from the University of Redlands.
